January Meeting–Trump and the Jews–First-Time Guests Free

Trump and the Jews

SVARW Hosts Israeli Terror Survivor

David Rubin is the former mayor of Shiloh, Israel.  While the Palestinians and the mainstream media continually refer to towns in this area as “West Bank Settlements”, this is the Biblical heartland of Israel:  Judah and Samaria.  Rubin is the founder and president of Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund (SICF) – dedicated to healing the trauma of child terror victims, as well as rebuilding the biblical heartland of Israel through the children.  SICF was established after Rubin and his three-year old son were shot and wounded by terrorists while driving home from Jerusalem.

Jews are passionate people and have been on the front lines of the debate over the presidency of Donald J. Trump.  Some of his bold policy decisions, such as recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and confronting Iran, have been influenced by Jews who are close to him.  However, most American Jews voted for his opponent raising the obvious question, “How can a president that has been so good to the Jews fail to receive their support?”

“Trump and the Jews” clearly explains the complicated, yet fascinating relationship with this president and a complex people that, after 1,000 years of sovereignty in Israel, almost 2,000 years of success, persecution and slaughter in exile, and a miraculous return to the Land of Israel, is still struggling with identity.

David Rubin is a frequently commentator on Fox News and many television/radio shows.  His articles and blogs have appeared in the Jerusalem Post, Israel National News, and other publications.  Rubin is a featured speaker and known as the “Trusted Voice of Israel”.  Born and raised in Brooklyn, Rubin has resided for many years in the town of Shiloh, Israel’s capital city for 369 years, in the time of Joshua, Hannah and Samuel the Prophet.
