Concerned Parents Of California

MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD

Hi <<First Name>>,

The CDC has issued Guidance for Schools (pages 42 on) that is very concerning to parents across the state, for myriad reasons. Some counties, eg. L.A. County, are taking the CDC considerations in a questionable direction.

Please forward this email to encourage others to voice their concerns. The next two weeks are are critical in influencing our children’s return-to-school environment!

Many families are ready to express their voice or take action and Concerned Parents of CA PAC is here to help guide you in this important and unprecedented need for activism. In this email we will provide you with substantive GUIDANCE for your emails and WHERE to locate your district/ county/ school -specific contact information. (You will have to do a little sleuthing to find this info, so best to begin from your laptop!)

Please know that we are aware that this type of engagement may seem overwhelming during a time where people have finite mental and emotional bandwidth. Many families are concerned with access to food, childcare, and/or employment, and have little time to consider this but we MUST do so if we are to influence the new learning landscape.
